The Spokane River Centennial Trail is just steps away from the RVCC campus. Completed in 1990, the trail runs along the Spokane River east through Post Falls to Coeur d' Alene, Idaho and a little beyond. To the west, it goes directly into Spokane's downtown ending in Riverside State Park. The paved Centennial Trail offers incredible scenery and amazing opportunities for walking, running, skating, and cycling. RVCC tenants will have this great recreational outlet available year round which also allows for bike commuting. Also, the city's Mirabeau Park is five minutes to the east.

Shopping, Dining, Lodging
River View Corporate Center is a couple minutes drive from Spokane Valley Mall and its neighborhood which is full of diverse restaurants, stores, and hotels. Heading south on Sullivan are numerous other stores including Walmart, office supply retailers, and others.

Other Highlights
Because of the ease of access to I-90, points east such as Liberty Lake, Post Falls, Coeur d' Alene can be quickly reached as can Spokane downtown 12 miles to the west. Other neighboring entities of note include Spokane Business and Industrial Park, Spokane Valley YMCA, and Valley Hospital (10 minutes).
